The Frostburg Museum in Frostburg, Maryland is a museum that showcases and exhibits the history of Frostburg, Maryland. The museum collects and presents artifacts that made Frostburg special. The museum is being managed by a huge number of volunteers who takes turns in making sure they present the visitors a tour that they will remember for a long time.

The Frostburg Museum is housed in a building that was constructed in 1899; an additional area was added to the building in 1914. It was used an elementary school until 1975 and was converted into a museum by 1976. Originally the building was composed of six rooms and an auditorium.

Moreover, the basement was used for kindergarten, cafeteria and meeting rooms. When the building was no longer needed as a school area, the Museum Association then decided to convert it to a museum.

The exhibits include an extensive collection of artifacts that is found with the area of Frostburg. These include the materials used as well as a reconstruction of a coal mine, wood display of various woods and wood products in the area, historical maps and books related to coal mining around Frostburg, local community history, photographs and local genealogy.
