The Hager House is composed of two stories that was created in 1739. It served as the home of Jonathan Hager who is also the founder of Hagerstown. It was built on separate springs to make sure that the water supply is protected. The house is filled with numerous authentic furnishing along with the original garments and artifacts once owned by the Hager family.
All its displays also include artifacts from the 18th and 19th century. From coins, forks, bone buttons, rifle parts, pottery and many more, you can find anything that is antique here. The museum also once served as a fort for cases of Indian attacks then. The entire house was built using uncut fieldstones that were all cautiously lifted b a young German immigrant.
