The Hampton National Historic Site includes the Hampton Mansion, the Hampton Farmhouse, the Slaves Quarters and the Archives. The Mansion is main attraction of this National Historic Site and it is considered as one of the finest and biggest Georgian mansions in America. Unlike many historic mansions, most the furnishings seen in the mansion belonged to the original owners of the mansion, the Ridgely’s. There works and paintings by American masters, silvers and ceramics from America, Europe and China, and many other excellent collections. It is a very excellent depiction of how Georgian Mansions look centuries before.

The Hampton Farmhouse which can also be found at the site has preserved its Georgian paneling in its interiors. The Slave Quarters which is composed of two two-story stone houses and one log cabin still resides in the property. These are good representations for how important work and labor was. The Hampton National Historic Site is really a memorable tour for visitors because most of the furnishings and the objects in the site have preserved its historic quality.
