The Laurel Museum is situated in a previous home of the mill workers way back in the 1840s. All its exhibits include a wide collection of books, tools, textiles, images and other personal ancient artifacts. The museum is surely capable of letting you unravel an abundant history of the city. You would know about its African American communities and the suburban experiences during the early days of the place.

It is also the place where most educational researchers do their gathering of necessary data through the various libraries that are found within the library. It opened its museum doors to the general public by May 1996. Its very first exhibit featured the past of the museum even before it started first as a mill house.
