Located in the suburb of Baltimore and Washington, DC, the Merriweather Post Pavilion is now one of the most well known outdoor concert venues in the country. Situated conveniently in the 40-acre property known as the Symphony Woods, this site has already seen tons of music concerts from its opening in 1967.

The great thing about Merriweather Post Pavilion is that it has a slope allowing the audience to get a better view and experience of the concert they’re attending. To build this feature, they hauled 700 truckloads of dirt in the 80s, adding more depth and height to the area.

The total capacity of the Merriweather Post Pavilion today is 19,316 people. It holds all kinds of genres and music shows as well.
