Quiet Waters Park is also known as Quiet Waters Park and Garden. It is between the South River and Harness Creek. The park is 340 acres of beautiful gardens. Visitors usually walk around, jog or bike on about six miles of paved trails going through the forests and grassy fields. There is also a children?s playground and a picnic area where visitors can enjoy the landscape. Visitors can rent kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, row boats, rowing shells and a sailboat. The also has a bicycle rental. It's also has the first dog park in Anne Arundel county. There are two fenced lanes: one for big dogs and the other for small and elderly dogs.

The park also has formal gardens and art galleries which exhibits rotating collections. There are five available pavilions for rent which can be rented for large outdoor parties and cook-outs. The pavilions can hold 50 to 100 people. For bigger events, Blue Heron Center which is the park's indoor facility is usually used for weddings, parties, and business meetings.
