The Thomas Isaac Log Cabin is believed to be one of the first structures built in Ellicott City, Maryland. Named after its 19th century owner, they say that it is already an antique when Thomas Isaac owned it in his time. Reports say that it has been built around the 1780s, which are also the early days of settlement in the area.

Today, the Thomas Isaac Log Cabin is a historical spot that offers historical information about the city?s beginnings. The best part here is that it?s not just a simple, boring museum packed with artifacts, as the guides (who are also historians and artisans) dressed in 18th century attires while giving the details about the past of the Ellicott Mills and the establishment of the National Road.
