The Callahan State Park is a state park and recreation area in Framingham, Massachusetts. Its proximity to a bustling commercial center makes it a pretty well known and visited site.

Named in honor of Raymond J. Callahan in 1971, the Callahan State Park offers a great deal of outdoor recreation. It is perfect for biking, hiking, horseback riding, and skiing within its seven miles of marked trails. There are also open fields where other activities can be enjoyed.

The only thing that must be noted closely about the Callahan State Park is that it is quite popular among dog owners. Some experienced crowds of untrained dogs that are not on leashes and owners that do not pick up after their pets. Others have the opposite experience, though.
