When in Boston, people can experience healing and spiritual education in Christian Science Center Complex. The concept of this popular Boston landmark came from The Church of Christ, Scientist which was founded by Mary Baker Eddy who, in 1879, had a healing mission across different churches around the world. At the heart of the Christian Science Center Complex are the remains of the original church, preserved for the future generations to see. The complex started with a 1,000 seating capacity and continues to grow bigger today.

The building is also pleasant to the eyes. It?s Romanesque in style, made of New Hampshire granite and some of the stunning stained glass windows inside even depict Bible stories. Among the many activities that Christian Science Center Complex hosts are church worship services and the publication of The Christian Science Monitor, a variety of magazines, and websites to engage the public in a global dialogue about spirituality and its relation to health and well-being.
