Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden is a tribute to Theodor Geisel, the man also known as Dr. Seuss. The author, best known for his literary work for children, is a true gift to the public.

The Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden is found in Springfield, Massachusetts, which is Theodor Geisel?s birthplace. The series of bronze sculptures that can be found in the complex are all from his works. It includes depictions of The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch, Horton the Elephant, a tower of turtles spanning 10 feet tall in honor of Yertle the Turtle, and Dr. Seuss himself on his desk. The statues were all designed by Theodor Geisel?s stepdaughter.

Children are allowed to climb around the statues in Dr. Seuss National Memorial sculpture Garden.
