The Dunn State Park is a state park and recreation area in Gardner, Massachusetts. It is noted for being one of the best state parks in Massachusetts to visit during the winter season.

Named after John Ainsworth Dunn, the Dunn State Park came into being through Mr. Dunn?s donation to the city of Gardner. Dunn was a furniture maker and owner of the John A. Dunn Furniture Company and he gave the city the tract of land where the park stands today. Despite being quite small in size as compared to other state parks with only 130 acres, the park is still well known for its recreational opportunities. It is perfect for boating, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and hiking. And on the winter months, it is also perfect for skiing, winter hiking, ice fishing, and even ice skating when conditions permit it.
