The F. Gilbert Hills State Forest is a state park and recreation area in Foxboro, Massachusetts. It was formerly known as the Foxboro State Forest and was renamed later on after the former State Forester F. Gilbert Hills.

Described and touted as a ?passive use? pine and oak forest, the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest is best enjoyed through hiking and nature study. There are twenty three miles inside the park, used for various purposes including hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and even for ATV and ORV uses. The site also contains a trail that connects to the Warner Trail, which is a long distance hiking trail that reaches Rhode Island.

The F. Gilbert Hills State Forest was named for a former State Forester who was a dedicated employee. His greatest contribution is his great productions of illustrative maps of the various properties of the department.
