The Federated Women’s Club State Forest is a state nature preserve, park, and recreation area located in Petersham, Massachusetts. The park is managed and operated by the Massachusets department of Conservation and Recreation.

The Federated Women’s Club State Forest is 984 state nature preserve located on Route 122 in Petersham and New Salem. It stretches to the south and west of the Quabbin Reservoir and covers almost 984 acres of pristine forest cover and recreational areas.

The Federated Women’s Club State forest is also the site of a popular wildlife sanctuary comprised of about 140 acres in the center of the state forest. A dam on fever brook provides adequate water to attract native and migrating bird species to the area.
