Steampunk cosplayers, writers, and enthusiasts will find each other?s ?steamy? company at the International Steampunk City Festival. This three-day event is a steampunk-themed fest held Every May in the historic industrial city of Waltham, Massachusetts. Steampunk is a literary style under the ?speculative fiction? genre that tries to reimagine history and society during the Industrial Revolution and Victorian era, also known as Steam Power Age. The hybrid of this steam technology and imagination has produced steampunk, which later on spilled into other disciplines such as fashion, games, design, and lifestyle.

For three days, the entire downtown of Waltham, in cooperation with the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation and the city government, is seemingly reverted to the Industrial Age, as steampunk-themed festivalgoers and organizers flood the streets. Attractions and entertainments include VIP dinners, ?mystery dinners?, art gallery tours, live bands, steam vehicle tours, Victorian picnic, sideshow, cosplays, and workshops.
