The Jacob?s Pillow dance is a dance center, performance space as well as school that is located in Becket, Massachusetts. The center produces some 200 free events each season, which is a local and tourist favorites. The festivals include performances, tours, films, exhibits, lectures, and speaking engagements with artists all over the world.

This organization is famous as the oldest internationally known summer dance festival in the United States. The organization is famously known as the Pillow, and its founder Ted Shawn was fundamental in the molding of the careers of many international famous performers.

There are 3 stages where the performances of the Pillow take place. The stages include the Ted Shawn Theater, Doris Duke Studio Theater, and the Inside/Out Stage, which provides shows as well as free talks and performances year round. Jacob?s Pillow was declared a National Historic Landmark by the federal government in 2003.
