The Joseph Allen Skinner State Park is made up of about 400 acres right on Mount Holyoke. It offers its visitors amazing scenery of not just the Holyoke Range but of the Connecticut River Valley as well. This Holyoke range state park can be reached by its main road along with its hiking trails that are open for the entire year.
According to the map of Holyoke, the road for vehicles for visitors to reach the historical mount Holyoke range skate park is open every day between 8am to 6pm. It recently was closed for several renovations but the road will once again reopen by middle of April as the weather would permit. The entire park?s name was taken from the name of a rich businessman, Joseph Allen Skinner who donated his land to the state way back in 1940.
