The Lowell Folk Fest is the biggest folk festival held for free in the country. It features non stop music on a total of six stages set outdoors. It is held during the month of July way in the downtown part of Lowell. It is an event perfect for the entire family and it presents a wide array of music under the folk genre.

It is where you can also get to taste the ethnic foods along with the native works of the local craftspeople and the artisans in the place. It is also filled with children’s activities. The place also holds the summer music series from the last week of June and up to the start of September for everyone to enjoy.
