MASS MoCA houses a museum of contemporary arts and hosts a wide array of performing arts throughout the year. Great fun, very reasonable, beautiful area with the highest peak in MA, Mt. Close to Clarke Art Museum, Williams College, Shaker Village, Tanglewood, The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, etc.
