The Mount Washington State Forest is a state park and recreation area in Mount Washington, Massachusetts. It is one of the most beautiful destinations in the state, offering spectacular sceneries and breathtaking views.

Situated on the noted Taconic Plateau, the Mount Washington State Forest is near the point where the states of New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts meet. It is a great example of a recovered natural area, because in the 18th and 19th centuries, the area was cut clear for charcoal production used by local iron forges. The forests are re-grown, as today’s park would prove, and provides an excellent location for outdoor recreation.

Visitors of the Mount Washington State Forest can enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, picnicking, skiing, and wilderness camping. The park is also adjacent to the Bash Bish Falls.
