The Mystic River Reservation is a state park, recreation area, and nature preserve in Medford, Massachusetts. It is noted for being one of the first officially created nature preserves in the state of Massachusetts.

Created along five other nature preserves in 1893 by the Metropolitan Parks Commission, which was later renamed to Metropolitan District Commission, the Mystic River Reservation contributes largely to the preservation of the beautiful Mystic River. As majority of the river?s banks are already transformed into publicly owned establishments, the river stands as one of the Commonwealth?s best protected streams.

Visitors of the Mystic River Reservation can enjoy year round recreation at the site. It is famous for picnicking, swimming, rowing, biking, hiking, boating, and sailing. The park also has facilities for tennis and soccer games.
