The Pittsfield State Forest is a state park and recreation area in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It is best known for its excellent recreation opportunities and beautiful natural scenery.

Boasting of beautiful views, the Pittsfield State Forest is packed with natural streams, waterfalls, and flowering shrubs. It is home to a 65-acre wild azalea field that blooms in June and tends to attract visitors every summer. It also features the scenic Berry Pond, which is noted as one of the highest natural bodies of water in all of Massachusetts at 2150 feet in elevation.

Visitors of the Pittsfield State Forest can easily enjoy tons of recreational activities at the site. For one, it has facilities that are ideal for off road vehicles. There are also the usual things to enjoy like fishing, hiking, picnicking, boating, horseback riding, hunting, bird watching, and skiing.
