The Pope John Paul II Park Reservation is a state park and recreation area in Dorchester, Massachusetts. It is also known as the Pope Park.
The site of the Pope John Paul II Park Reservation has always been useful to the public. Initially, it served as a barrier between the community of Dorchester and the Neponset River. It was later turned into a landfill and then a drive in theater before developed into a park. It covers 65 acres and is outfitted with walkways, playing fields, and scenic open areas among various sorts of plant life.
Visitors of the Pope John Paul II Park Reservation can easily enjoy hiking, fishing, picnicking, and running at the site. There?s also space for soccer games and bird watching is also highly possible at the park, after being restored into a natural area fit for wildlife.
