The Quinsigamond State Park is a state park and recreation area in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is often reviewed as a great getaway from the city, located near a highly urbanized area but provides a great amount of recreational opportunities.
Featuring Lake Quinisigamond, the Quinsigamond State Park is composed of two day use areas that are perfect for a great number of recreational activities. The first site, known as the Regatta Point, is outfitted for swimming, fishing, sailing, and fishing. This 25 acre area is popular for rowing crew regattas and sailing. The other area, known as Lake Park, is also ideal for a series of outdoor activities.
The best thing about the Quinsigamond State Park is that it has a 2000 meter rowing course on the Lake Quinsigamond. This area is internationally recognized as one of the best in the world.
