The Roxbury Heritage State Park is a state park and recreation area in Roxbury, Massachusetts. It is a history-themed heritage park that commemorates and preserves the colorful past of the area.
Located in the oldest part of Roxbury, the Roxbury Heritage State Park primarily features the historic Dillaway-Thomas House; a colonial building constructed in 1750 and is deemed as the oldest surviving home in the community. The house was originally constructed to serve as a parsonage for Reverend Oliver Peabody, who was the pastor of the First Church of Roxbury at the time. It then got its name from its consequent owners, Martha Dillaway and John Thomas.
The Roxbury Heritage State Park is primarily visited for tours of the house and for exploring the local history of the area.
