The Rumney Marsh Reservation is a state park and recreation area in Revere, Massachusetts. It is created to preserve its natural condition, as well as to provide a venue for recreation to area residents.
Covering six hundred acres, the Rumney Marsh Reservation also contains portions of the Saugus and Pines River estuary. It is most famous for its expansive salt marsh that serves as a habitat for a wide variety of wildlife, mostly migratory birds and marine life. It is also an excellent location for recreation, ideal for fishing, hiking, and kayaking. The park is also popular among bird watching enthusiasts, as it is a great place to spot various sorts of bird species due to its specific natural state.
