The Streeter Point Recreation Area is a state park and recreation area in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. It is a small park that is full to the brim with recreational opportunities.
Mainly featuring the East Brimfield Reservoir, the Streeter Point Recreation Area may only cover 10 acres of land area, but it provides access to the 400-acre lake, which is a great place to enjoy a great deal of water related recreation. Mostly, the park is a day use unit of the Massachusetts state parks system, with facilities ideal for swimming, picnicking, and fishing. Hunting is also allowed at the park, but a good amount of restrictions apply.
The Streeter Point Recreation Area was closed for a time in the 2009, but it was reopened a year later in the summer of 2010.
