The Worcester Art Museum is home to a total of 35,000 items taken from different periods of time. Its highlighted collections include those of the art pieces in the form of images, prints, paintings and other drawings that display the influence of the European and North American styles. It also has some art pieces that boast of the Asian art and other sculptures made by the Romans and the Greeks.

Every collection of the museum is arranged by category of geography excluding the Western art forms which are organized according to medium of art used. Their Contemporary Art collection is known and recognized to be an international kind of art for the past decade in almost every type of media exposed.
