Aloha State Park is a haven for modern campers. Aloha is accessible from many of Michigan?s most famous travel destinations at the Straits of Mackinaw. It is also near Cheboygan, a place which offers fine dining, entertainment areas and shopping centers. Outdoor and indoor activities are available in this modern campsite. The playground offers a variety of sports including softball, basketball, horse shoe pits, volleyball, swings, slides and even a merry-go-round. Hiking trails are provided. One such trail is the Mackinaw to Hawks trail. It is a gravel surface track around Aloha State Park. During summer months, this gravel trail is used for outdoor sports like hiking, biking and equestrian. On winter months, tourist can use the trail to snow mobiling. Anglers are about to catch small mouth bass, pike, sturgeon, lake trout, blue gill and yellow perch. During winter, revelers can go ice fishing. 285 campsites are available. Campers can stay there for a maximum of 15 days. Metal detecting is considered a recreational activity on the ground that it must nit damage the environment of Michigan State Parks.

Boating is available, too. Pets must have the necessary leash of 6 feet, not on beaches. Right outside the entrance of the park, a store provider tourist fresh donuts in the mornings, newspaper dailies and ice cream during dinner.
