Arch Rock is a natural limestone arch in Mackinac Island, Michigan. It is one of the interesting rock formations that people can find in the island. It stands on the shoreline, seeming like a welcoming landmark to the beautiful and historic island.

Arch Rock dates back to the Nipissing post-glacial period, right after the end of the Wisconsin glaciation, when the Lake Huron had high levels. With the area being once the home of Native American tribes, this rock formation became the center of legends and tales of the Indians. They believed that it was a place of great power.

Being a great wonder, the Arch Rock has always been a part of the Mackinac Island State Park. A walking and bicycle trail is named after it, while several roads lead to this beautiful spot.
