A contributing property to the Cranbrook Educational Community, which is a National Historic Landmark District, the Cranbrook Art Museum is a museum featuring contemporary art. It has a permanent collection of pieces made by Harry Bertoia, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Maija Grotell, Charles and Ray Eames, Robert Motherwell, and Carl Milles.

The Cranbrook Art Museum was completed in 1942 and works as a connected museum for the Cranbrook Academy of Art. It also features the Saarinen House, the former home and studio of the well known architect Eliel Saarinen.

Aside from tours, lectures are also offered at the Cranbrook Art Museum. The exhibits are open from May through October, but lectures are scheduled year round. You can check their official website for more information.
