Located in Dearborn, Michigan, the Ford River Rouge Complex is owned and operated by the Ford Motor Company as a factory complex. It was opened in the 1920s, where the workers of the Highland Park Ford Plant were moved.

The Ford River Rouge Complex is best known as the largest integrated factory in the world upon its completion in 1928. It measures a total of 1.5 miles by 1 mile in area, filled with 93 buildings and 16 million square feet of factory floor space. It produced cars and even the WWI anti-submarine warfare boats like the Eagle Boats.

Today, the Ford River Rouge Complex is still operated as a factory. It is also the home to Ford?s Rouge Center. Tours have always been offered as a part of the plant?s tradition.
