The Frankenmuth Museum enables the Frankenmuth Historical Association to achieve the preservation, communication, and celebration of the unique heritage of Frankenmuth as well as its surrounding colonies. The Museum boasts of seven galleries that detail the community?s history and evolution. It also houses a collections department that boasts of thousands of artifacts and documents and an education department that is dedicated to the presentation of the community?s story.

The Museum adds delight to every touring experience through its very own gift shop that offers locally crafted and European goods.

Attached to the Museum is the historic Fischer Hall, which was built in the 1890?s. The structure provides a venue for concerts, parties, and other local civic events. The Museum offers special exhibits and other special events as well. Self-guided and guided tours are available at certain fees.

The Museum os open from Monday to Thursday at 10:30a.m. to 5p.m., on Fridays from 10:30a.m. to 8p.m., on Saturdays from 10a.m. to 8p.m., and on Sundays from 11a.m. to 7p.m. For self-guided tours, admission fee is $2 for adults and $1 for students.
