The International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum was founded in 1995. It exists for the preservation and education of gospel music and entertainment around the world.

The Museum was founded by DoRohn Entertainment President and gospel artist David Gough. Known as the Mayor of Gospel, Gough was deeply committed to gospel music and entertainment. The Museum also gives recognition pays honor to the people to the legends of gospel through its annual induction ceremony.

Within the Museum, visitors will be able to experience a free recording session in real studio. Those who participate get to choose gospel songs from the studio?s list of sound tracks so that they can begin recording their voice over the track and have their very own CD.

Today, the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum continues to offers the highest quality of visual, audio, and interactive works of Gospel Music art to a wider range of audience. Through its collection, it also serves as a resource center for the understanding and promotion of Gospel Music.
