In celebration of the Keweenaw Peninsula?s history, the Keweenaw National Historical Park was established in 1992 by the US National Park Service. It is composed of two major units, the Quincy and Calumet units. It also features 19 heritage sites.

Measuring a total of 1700 acres in area, the Keweenaw National Historical Park offers a wide variety of attractions. Here, you can learn about the area?s copper industry history, its ethnic heritage, and the development of the communities in the area.
