Located in Ludington, Michigan, between the shores of Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan, is the Ludington State Park. This 5300-acre park features a wide number of attractions, including several ecosystems like sand dunes, forests, a Great Lake, a river, and a dam.

Aside from these, the Ludington State Park is also where you can find the Big Sable Point Lighthouse. This historic building is a stunning site to behold and can be visited by trekking a mile and a half of sandy beach.

Camping is also a popular activity in Ludington State Park, as well as biking and hiking. Maps for treks are available and can be obtained from the park rangers’ station. Swimming is also possible at the Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan during summer.
