The Shelden-Dee Block is a commercial building located in a busy corner in Houghton, Michigan. It was initially constructed in 1899 to the year 1900 by the firm of Paul Mueller. The property was owned by Mary Edwards Shellen (acquired from her deceased husband George Shelden), and business partner James Dee.

The Shelden-Dee Block has always been a commercial space. It was actually a great move, as the site was built during the prosperity and development years of the city, around the time when the local mining industry is flourishing.
Today, this three-story building houses commercial establishments in its lower floor and basement, and operates apartment units in the two upper floors. It is also a listed site on the National Register of Historic Places.
