The White Pine Village is an outdoor museum featuring various buildings and artifacts from the 19th century. Its main highlight is the 1849 Burr Caswell Farmhouse which served as the Mason County Courthouse for quite some time during the initial establishment of the county and the city of Ludington back in the mid-1800s.

The White Pine Village is basically a self-guided tour of the various historically significant structures from all over Mason County, Michigan. The buildings contain various artifacts as well, providing more information about the beginnings of the area.

Owned and operated by the Mason County Historical Society, the White Pine Village also offers special seasonal events like the Autumn Days, Old Time Base Ball Matches, Fish Fry, Children?s Days, and Pancake Supper among many others.
