Opened in 2003, the Wilderness Trails Animal Park is managed by two sisters and their husbands and all of whom have an incredible passion for animals. Today, the zoo serves as home to more than 200 different animals belonging to over fifty species.

One of the most popular attractions at the site include the Reptile Sanctuary, which is undergoing continuous construction to provide unwanted or abused reptiles with a safe and loving home. Construction of the sanctuary is completely funded by donations as well as operated under the Niezgucki Family of volunteers.

Another interesting attraction at the zoo is the recently opened Butterfly House. Interested visitors may also take part in the wide variety of enrichment programs offered by the zoo.
