The Cokato Museum is a local history museum focusing on Cokato’s history as a City. It also provides information regarding the history of the surrounding townships in southwestern Wright County. Visitors will also get a glimpse of what Cokato was like by viewing its artifacts that come from some of its most significant landmarks like the post office, pharmacy, bank, and dentist’s office.

The Cokato Historical Society supports the Museum in its mission together with Cokato residents who are willing to join. The organization also hosts an annual New Year’s open house aside from the temporary and permanent exhibits in the Museum.

The Museum is open from Tuesday to Friday, 9a.m. to 4:30p.m. and on Saturdays from 9a.m. to 3:00p.m. It offers tours which are set by appointment.
