The Gammelgarden Museum is located in a land that measures 11 acres in the northeastern part of Minneapolis. It is where you can find an old barn, a house, and even a church. They aim to preserve the history and heritage of the Swedish culture through their world class exhibits. The term Gammelgarden means an Old Farm in the Swedish language.

Every visitor can step back in history by visiting this museum and get to be educated with the early lives of the Swedish immigrants in the past. They also hold various classes and events that tell more of the culture of these immigrants. They also hold tour guides that can take you around every attraction found within the area.
