The Guthrie Theater is situated in Minneapolis which opened last May 7, 1963. Their very first production was of the story of Hamlet and was directed by Sir Tyrone Guthrie. He was also the founder of the entire theater. At present, the attraction presents a great combination of classic and modern art productions and they even offer interesting backstage tours.

The theater also serves as host to many events that are not just limited to plays and concerts, but also to open forums, seminars and talks. It also houses bars and a dining section along with a store where you can get to buy some souvenir items that you can bring home with you. Their presentations vary in the most dynamic ways possible.
