Also known simply as the Metrodome, this multi-purpose sports arena is home to many professional Minnesota teams. The purple football pride of city, the Minnesota Vikings, has been wreaking havoc on this field since 1982. The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers of the Big Ten Conference college baseball team also is based here, as well as the previous home of the Minnesota Twins.
