Scenic vistas, outdoor recreations, and historic architectures merge at Itasca State Park, Minnesota?s state park. Covering a wide expanse about 32, 690 acres at Northern Minnesota, Itasca State Park is a testament to Minnesota?s qualities as a rich Northern frontier. The park was established on April 20, 1891, making it the second oldest state parks in the United States.

About half a million people flock to this park to enjoy nature and partake in several outdoor activities. Open during all four seasons, the park offer various pastimes such as camping, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and boating. The state park also contains the largest collection of architecturally significant log structures featuring the Rustic Style of architecture. It was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
