The Northern Rail Train Car Hotel is a themed inn located in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Although, train themed hotels are not exactly one of a kind offer anymore, it is still a great place to stay, as the venue is a destination on its own as well.

The Northern Rail Train Car Hotel, also known as the Northern Train Car Suites, is composed of 10 authentic train cars, offering 17 guest rooms. These cars are “retired” coaches and are renovated into themed suites (Victorian, Oriental, Northwoods, and Safari themes). Opened in 2002, the lodge is located inside a 160 acre forested area. Its location also offers other activities to outdoor visitors, including hiking and sightseeing.

Guests of the Northern Rail Train Car Hotel will be welcomed by a depot-style main building, where a library and breakfast area is also located.
