Occupying over 70,000 square feet of grounds, the Water Park of America is certainly the biggest indoor park in the country and rightly so, considering it’s also next to the gigantic Mall of America.

The most popular ride in the park is no doubt its indoor raft ride, which is dazzling with its mile-long journey starting off ten stories above the ground. Riders that take this dizzyingly fun ride would swoosh through translucent tubes before plunging into a pool with a mighty splash. The water park also has the one and only Flow Rider in the state. This is a surfing simulator machine that places riders on boogie boards and experience body surfing...indoors. One other unique attraction offered by the park is its lazy river, which includes a detour to the Lake Superior Pool. Other rides and attractions found at the park include a variety of slides, an activity pool, whirlpool spas, and a kiddie zone area with its own tipping bucket.

Reduced admission rates may be obtains for guests who have checked in at the nearby Radisson Hotel Bloomington.
