The Baer House Inn is a charming historic bed and breakfast that?s nowadays known for being one of the state?s most delightful inns as well as a popular historical and paranormal attraction. Completed in 1870, the Victorian mansion is now a full-service inn offering seven guest rooms that come with queen or king-sized beds, period furnishing, and private bathrooms. Every morning, guests may enjoy full breakfasts at the ballroom and a bit of socializing in the early evenings while enjoying snacks with a glass of wine. Special candlelit dinners and customized tours and packages may be arranged with prior notice.

Originally owned by couple Lazrus and Leona Baer, the two-story mansion also has eleven fireplaces and four cisterns as well as its own carriage house and well house. At that time, it was one of the most beautiful houses in the area, with its grand ballroom and ornate woodwork. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn is within walking distance of many other historical landmarks as well as tourist attractions in the city.
