The Canton Train Museum is a railroading museum in Canton, Mississippi. It features the railway heritage of Central Mississippi and Canton?s historic train depot.

Housed in the 1890 train depot, the Canton Train Museum traces the area?s railroading history from its very beginning. Since 1841, the people of Canton have already been inquiring about the possibility of having a rail line that will pass or go to the city. Their wishes have been granted when in 1852 the ground was broken for the Canton & Jackson Railroad.

The Canton Train Museum was opened after the restoration of the historic train depot was completed in 1999. Since then, it has chronicled the history of Madison County and the great impact of the railroad to the area.
