The Choctaw Museum of the Southern Indian is a Native American heritage museum in Philadelphia, Mississippi. It is a part of the efforts of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in informing the public about their heritage and rich history.

Also known simply as the Choctaw Museum, the Choctaw Museum of the Southern Indian was founded in 1981 as a means to share the Choctaw culture with visitors. This way, the public can know more about the tribe’s way of life and better understand and appreciate their customs and traditions. The site offers information about the history and government of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indian, a tour of the museum gallery, demonstrations of crafts by the Choctaw Artisans and Craftsmen, and outreach programs for cultural education among other things.
