Almost everyone who is interested in the history of blues and rock and roll knows the legend of Robert Johnson. Being a man who suddenly became a great guitar player, Johnson was believed to have traded his soul to the devil to get the skills he needed to become the great blues musician that he has become.

According to the tales, the Devil?s Crossroad is located at the intersection of the Highways 49 and 61 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Today, the spot is marked by the Crossroad Monument and a sign that says ?The Crossroads?.

Although, the authenticity of the stories is still a topic of dispute until today, tons of music fans still troop to the site. Some locals even say that they also see tourists holding guitars around midnight on some occasions near the Devil?s Crossroads.
