In 1985, Harry Sharp and his wife purchased the property from the Salvation Army and fully restored the mansion into its original beauty, turning it into an exquisite Vicksburg bed and breakfast with the help of professionals, locals, and government factions.

Today, Duff Green Mansion is considered one of the best bed and breakfast Vicksburg MS accommodations. It offers four luxurious and historic rooms: the Dixie Room, the Camellia Room ? which has a circa 1840 rosewood king-sized bed, the Confederate Room, and the Magolia Room ? which boasts of a circa 1750 queen-sized bleached pine bed.
